One of the areas that our technology has been utilized in, is the welfare and medical industry. We manufacture an artificial human foot, which nursing students can use to practice cutting nails, or the equipment that enables the elderly to walk, all of which respond to the needs of the medical field. In 2014, we manufactured models of patients' lungs and blood vessels based on CT scans. These precision models were utilized for surgery preparation, helping to contribute to the world’s first living donor lung transplantation. This is an example of our 3D data and manufacturing technologies contributing to cutting-edge medical care. There have been numerous additional requests for 3D products from throughout the medical field and we are working to provide the technology to respond to those needs.
